Jet Airliner Simulator – Group Experiential Learning for Groups of 3…Fulfill your dream of flying a Jet Airliner
This unique opportunity is the ideal experience for any group who has dreams of flying a Jet Aircraft. Our fully certified Jet Aircraft MD 80 Simulator, used to train Airline Pilots, will provide an opportunity to experience the complex functions and intricacies of flying an Airliner from one airport to another. You will be flying under the supervision and guidance of our fully qualified, MD 80 Rated Flight Instructor, and your experience will be one never to be forgotten.
The Group Sim Experience (up to 3 people per session) – includes 60 minute flying time (take-off/cruise/landing) and 60 min briefing/CRM presentation (see below)Â – groups will rotate between sim session and presentation
The groups will be required to handle Pilot checklists whilst experiencing various flight simulation scenarios, such as Bad Weather, Engine Fire, Bird Strikes etc.
The participants will fly the MD 82 Aircraft in the right hand seat with Instructor directing you at the controls and enjoy the experience of âa day in the life of an Airline Pilotâ. This will include the process of the Aircraft startup, Taxi, Take-off, cruise, landing, Taxi and Parking for a one hour flight. This seemingly simple exercise is going to bring a thrill and adrenalin rush that only flying a large jet can bring. It requires focus, concentration and a real love for the wilder adventures in life. The full motion simulator is like the âreal thing.â It is so realistic that airline pilots are trained solely on this device before they start carrying passengers on the real thing. You will fly from airport to airport ( eg OR Tambo to King Shaka ) following the procedures that are completed on any flight you would as a passenger on any of our airlines
The team will then be treated to a âBlack Boxâ Presentation. This presentation is an overview of the Human Factor in Air Disasters, a subject that is mandatory for Airline Pilots on an annual basis. This will expose your team to the Human Factor Concepts which not only save lives on aircraft, but dramatically impact the success of any business. Treat your personnel to this unique and dynamic experience while your company benefits from the exposure to the principles of Human Error in High Stress situations.
